said on the phone, “is there any chance to get me on a real cover?” Don’t think so

Just picture this scene: rainy night, home alone, not really into watching TV, browsing 1001 pictures - so hey, let's have some digital fun.
My SO (not in town, kind of busy) called soon afterwards: "You put me on Vogue?" (me:) "did you like it?" (he:) "sure, but it's only a digital effect, nobody cares about that" (me:) "ok, but I got 400 pageviews" (he:) "so you provided free entertainment for 400 surfers?" (me:) "well, basically, that what it boils down to" (he:) "I really don't get all this blog stuff, I get paid when I sit in front of a screen" (me:) "I know, but through blogging I've met quite interesting people in real life, like Di (womanwondering) or veronica (v-grrrl) [and many others]” (he:) “OK, guess you’ve got a point here. Still feels weird to me though”.

Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I am getting slower and slower with my blog, especially after the chemo treatments, my fingers hardly work.

I’m off to LegoLand tomorrow, never been, more of a Disneyland girl, but am taking my 8 year old grandson so should be fun and hopefully will get to stroll the beach.
