What an amazing photo–suggests one hell of a story.
Did she change her mind? Did he? Was he a no show? Or is she just tired of all the wedding stress and pageantry and want to take a cig break?

The whole scene was just stunning, Veronica: she came out of nowhere (I did hear a distant shout/cry), walked around with a bewildered look on her face and sat down at the foot of the statue. The older men sitting next to her actually lit her cigarette.
People in the square looked confused (notice the “hey, what’s going on” look on the woman’s face)
I took three shots in a couple of seconds - the bride was gone within a minute.
Guess we will never know

I guess this was truly one of those ‘lucky’ shots: minutes later she was gone.

Thanks Evi (guess you meant unusual). It took me a while to realize that this was a special shot.
I was truly impressed by the Flash images at nikoslaskaridis.com - the work of a talented multi-media artist.
